"Women need to have control over their bodies. We have to have abortion and bodily autonomy." This is the cry we hear, particularly during election season. Unplanned pregnancies happen all the time. Even the supernatural conception of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit was an unplanned pregnancy for Mary and Joseph. Our beliefs on abortion have a big impact on our actions. What is that in the womb and is it worthy of our protection? God is our creator and greatly values life. How should we approach this sensitive topic knowing many of those around us have been involved in an abortion or have had one?
